Today I began another journey in conjunction with the 21 day fix, I started a 30 day Yoga camp. I have a friend who has been doing yoga for awhile now and she started with these amazing videos. Yoga Camp w/ Adrienne Day 1
Day 1 was great because the thought for today was “I accept”. Accepting where we are right at this moment I think is key to knowing our bodies better and what they can and cannot do. It is also giving me a baseline for where I want to be in the future. Being stronger is my ultimate goal but I also want to enjoy the journey of getting there.
I am not sure exactly how I plan to blog about this journey but I plan to put a little something here daily after my Yoga practice. I hope to inspire someone to just try something new, break out of your comfort zone and follow your dreams. Whatever they may be. I have a bucket list that I started here-> My Bucket List I want to go back and re-evaluate it again as I know it will evolve and change as time goes on. Some of these things aren’t important anymore and other things take their place. I live for today, with a hope for tomorrow. None of us are promised another minute so make the best of this one right now!! Below are just a few things I am focusing on today as I continue through my day! I hope your day is as great as you imagine it to be!
Today I accept where I am right now.
I accept my body for the limits I have at the moment.
I accept that becoming strong in mind, body and soul will take time and effort.
I am willing to put in the work to change my health and strength.
By taking care of myself I am better able to care for those I love.
