My 21 Day Fix Journey part 2

As you may have already read here I have started doing the Beach Body 21 day fix with Shakeology.  I must say that I LOVE this program!!  I have been lax a few times but for the most part I have kept to an 80-20% ratio.  Which is pretty good I think.

Now that I am more familiar with the program and when and what I should be eating it has gotten much easier.  Planning meals and prepping a lot of stuff ahead of time really does help me to stay on track, even on those days when I feel like I am doomed for failure.

I definitely have less pain overall and have more energy and that is a big plus in my book.  My family is so supportive and they are eating just as I am eating since it is just too much work and frankly costs way too much to make separate meals.

Some things I have discovered is I am not usually hungry in the morning.  I tried to drink a shake in the morning and some mornings I wasn’t hungry at all so I would get busy doing something else as I drank my coffee and then before I realize, it is noon!   This is not good…because I discovered by then I am famished and I could overeat at that time.  So I have started getting up and making my shake right away and I have it with my coffee and it holds me over for a few hours so I can get things done.

Another thing I discovered is I definitely have more energy, I find myself moving around quite a bit more.  Soon I hope to get a desk that can convert to a standing desk so I can get my work done on my computer without sitting the whole time.  They say that sitting is the new smoking so I need to not be sitting so much.

Lastly I have found that my family is liking the cleaner eats I am making.  So far so good anyway.  I haven’t made anything they have really hated.

I think I will pop in weekly and update how things went that week and share the recipes I put together for that week as well.  I honestly feel like I am creating a lifestyle that I can live with forever, I am not deprived, I feel better, have less pain and I have more energy to do the things I want to do.  What more could someone ask for?!
